OCTOBER DAYS

A new October morning

Finds us in the gray days

Of the year.  Fields of pumpkins

Waiting to become Jack-O-Lanterns

Corn stalks groomed to form tents

Leaf burning gives us clouds

Which remind us of Indians dancing

There is enough room for spirituality

The colorful leaves, each different

As are we and are the Saints in Heaven

We wait for Halloween, Thanksgiving,

Advent and Christmas as well

It is a commercial world and much

Emphasis will be placed on what

We think are the wrong things

We are awake and know where

Our focus should be.  We have bold

Intentions, but to carry them out

We need the help of the Lord.

It is easy to be distracted from the

Things we wish to do so we double

Down in prayer and good works

When these days are past we may

Judge ourselves and look forward

To our next challenge

Her policies are failed, weak and dangerous.

If you like this possibility then vote for her, but if not

Trump is your man. He will turn things around.

One pleads his heart out, but it’s not for

Their team so, they ignore the logic maybe

Go down the drain and all ol their wishes with them.

But they wouldn’t listen.

They reverted to name calling

Pointed out untruths and

Hoped this would save them

And maybe it will, but if it does and their

Leader wins it will be four years of misery

You could call it a capital sin.

But, I will pray on my sore knees

That this doesn’t happen and

The Lord of us all will intercede.

It is hard to believe that intelligent

People could fall for such a lie

From one who doesn’t know

How to answer a simple question

Except to say she is from the

Middle class and she will stop

Price gouging, obviously not

Understanding all the factors

Of pricing. Her husband has

Character flaws as does Clinton

And Trump, but Trump did give us

Four good years where we were better

Off because of Him.

Kamala’s failed, weak, and dangerously

Liberal policies are unacceptable.

She voted against Trump’s largest

Tax cut in history and proposed

Raising income taxes. His cuts

resulted in more money for the treasury.

She wanted to collect more taxes on tips.

Interest rates increased after she took office.

This made mortgages unaffordable for many

And drove up rent prices. She reduced oil

And gas production causing prices to soar

And costing families thousands more per year.

Home prices increased 25% and credit card

Debt surged while personal savings fell.

Do we want more of this or should we turn

The page and go back to the Trump years

When everyone was doing well. We all make

Mistakes but don’t make one when you vote

This year.

Pain affects our flow

Removes our glow

Distracts us from purpose

As though just to curse us

Why we often wonder

Is it so much like thunder?

Can’t we get relief?

Could we catch this thief?

So much we cannot do

Watch out for the other shoe

Don’t know where to go

Have to find my Mo-jo

This pain’s so bad

It can make me sad

Some treat it as a fad

Seems to make them glad

I have no use for it

When bad I’ll have a fit

Can’t get used to it

Sometimes my pain

Is like an endless rain

Won’t it please end soon?

Release itself, like

A butterfly from its cocoon

Today the sun shines

And I’m feeling fine

Maybe it’s in the mind

Peace is where I’ll find

Let’s forget if we are

Democrats or Republicans

I am an Independent and

Vote tor the candidate who

I think will do the best job for

The country and its citizens.

This year we will be choosing

Either a Marxist or one who wants

To make America great again.

The last four years have seen our

Country in decline. The border was

Opened and the stay in Mexico

Agreement dissolved by a stroke

Of a pen. Our energy output was

Reduced, driving up the cost on

Rent, homes, insurance, interest,

Fuel and food while reducing wages

And jobs. Some people had to go

Into debt just to survive. Seniors

Had to dip into their savings just to

Pay bills and for food. Please do not

Be proud. Vote to survive. We do not

Want a new world order where the elite

Are in control and we will be controlled.

Trust in Almighty God and vow to serve

Him. He will put His Light over all

Darkness and we will be free.

People today have a way

Of forgetting how much

President Trump did to

Make America Great.

He fought to close the

Border and by drilling

For oil and gas made

Us energy independent

And energy exporters.

He improved the condition

Of our veterans. Helped

Israel and moved our

Embassy to Jerusalem.

He brought companies

Back to America. He

Created many jobs doing

This and kept us out of

Conflict. He was respected

By our foreign adversaries.

He wiped out two terrorist

Leaders. He lowered taxes

Bringing in more money

To our treasury because

More people were working

For more money. Many other

Accomplishments were made.

Compare with the last four years.

Everything was reversed

We earned less and things cost more

The world is in conflict. We semi-abandoned

Israel and made a big mistake in Afganistan.

There is no promise to close the border.

We treat the intruders like guests, while our

Veterans sleep under tarps or commit suicide

Kamala is an avowed Marxist like her father.

She says she can’t think of anything she would change.

So we want more of this? The answer should be a loud no.

JESUS IS LORD

These words were yelled out at a Kamala Rally on Saturday.

She stopped, laughed, and then said you are at the wrong rally.

I shuddered when I heard those words of hers. Like many

Marxist socialists, she does not recognize God. The Democratic

Ticket is the most radical progressive in our history meaning that it

Is nothing other than anti-God socialism taking our freedoms from

Us as well as our money. Most Democratic candidates support this.

Republican positions, while not perfect, support the ideals of life and

Liberty. They defend religious freedom, protect the unborn, support

Our military and law enforcement. Stand by Israel, guard our borders

And security and are fiscally responsible. Being a conservative

Deplorable I will go for the Republican ticket this year. I want an

America that is sound, solid, safe and unashamed of our founding

Christian principles. An America that the world looks to as a leader.

I encourage my Democratic friends to do the same for the valid

Reasons I stated.
