THE SOLITARY STATE OF BEING

Scientists, Psychologists, Poets and Priests all

have their take on what makes up our lives and

the natural or unnatural way in which we cope

with the many facets of life including success and

victory or abuse, alcoholism, addiction, rejection

and divorce.  No one person knows the answers.

No collection of people can brainstorm and resolve

all issues in a Walt Whitman kind of way, where

everything in our lives interface—one thing causing

another, which leads to some other emotional crisis.

Experts can speculate on issues or people with issues

and that may be good, but no two issues are the same;

no two people are the same and even Whitman

backtracked in his writing to accommodate the

current presentation at that point in time.

Man is complex with no two alike; even twins and

other family members are decidedly different.

We are peculiar in that we like things to be

packaged and wrapped neatly so that no anxiousness

is involved.  Along the way various people have

come together and agreed to live under a set of rules

which are sound and agreed upon.  This is good and

still we have inequities and deviations from

the agreed rules.  Consequences do not guarantee

equal results and still the learned ones insist on

having the answers, but they don’t.

The answer to life’s presentations lie within each of us;

in our sinews and marrow and our souls.

Souls, which cannot make promises and are

Over-burdened or not burdened enough,

thus our responses vary and the poets, priests and

doctors of science cannot explain, but throw out

opinions which allow those annoyed with wrong doing

to drift over to victimhood, which solves nothing.

In our spectrum of time, which is like a blink of the eye ,

there has been one man who has given us

the answer we are looking for and that answer

can be summed up in one word:  Love.
