The occupant of the White House
also known as President Trump
is, in the opinion of a poet with
a Doctor of Philosophy degree,
that he —the occupant—
represents the dark side of
his sycophants also referred to
as a cult-following thing
reminiscent most recently
of Hitler and Nazism.
The erudite muse goes on
to claim that the occupant
is a glaring example of
the worst of what we are.
I look at the first three years
of his occupancy and see
the incredible accomplishments
he has made which have lifted
all of the people in this country
and also in the world.
The dark side of which he speaks
would be the swamp creatures
on both sides of the aisle and
the media which has been negative
over ninety percent of the time.
He has also endured a senate
investigation, the Mueller investigation,
an impeachment, the whole Russian hoax
and still has done more good for
this country then all of the politicians
for the last fifty years
He may be a flawed diamond
but he has not suppressed anyone,
save a few thousand terrorists,
which puts a hole in the muse’s analogy.
It is true that the Covid-19 pandemic
has put an ugly dress on
his achievements but
God willing we will overcome.
