THE WORLD OF MAKE BELIEVE

We are systemic racists
Also white supremacists
These statements are uttered
Believed by those hungry for
Support of their causes

The Reverend Al Sharpton is their hero
He is anti-Asian, antisemitic and
Anti-paying his own taxes
He is pro-making money off the backs of others
Corrupt political influence dominates

All of the ethnic divides are incidental
They have nothing to do to
Our collective identification
We are all one, although there are differences
These differences are exploited by the leftists

Certain groups are held down so others may succeed
The choice of our education has been suppressed
Those most in need are instructed to say no
The ones deprived are left deprived
And then the curse of false labels

Education has been replaced with indoctrination
Victims are stunned and inclined to believe
The bells are pealing and time does not stop
Dis-information is prevalent
How do we lead people to believe in the truth?

The misrepresentations are unbelievable
The occupant with the Japanese minister
Receive softball questions and Joe-Joe
Answers a part of a three part question
He turns the floor over to the Minister from Japan

Failure once more to confront reality
No acknowledgement of Russian disinformation
The occupant boldly speaks of murders on the street
I pray for their eternal rest
Most are black on black murders

Still the police remain the underdogs
Until we need them to rescue us
Then they are our best friends
We are a misled people, unfortunately
Indoctrination by the left must be canceled

Let us enlist the beliefs of
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

LET US NOT WEAKEN THE POLICE ANY MORE

We have all seen the bullies
(They cower when outnumbered)
Taking control when in power
Nothing else seem to matter

Routine stops turn violent
And then all hell breaks loose
If a black person is involved
The degree of escalation rises

Due process must not be set aside
Most blacks unfortunately are
Murdered by other blacks

The number killed by police
Is almost negligible, but when
It happens it is a sad situation
Because every life regardless of color matters

The politicians and the left use
Every tragedy to their advantage
They use the race card every time
Make promises they never keep

Every case is different
There is nothing routine
Except for the playing of the race card

When a black cop is killed it is ignored
Because it doesn’t fit the narrative
There are no “peaceful” protests for them

The liberals have an agenda, but
Destroying the police is not an option
One hundred have been killed this year alone

Blacks by the hundreds have been killed
By other blacks in Baltimore, Chicago, and
Many other major cities
It is no longer news because it is
Basically accepted as normal

Where are the pastors and parents?
We have already weakened the police
May God help us come to our senses
And get Maxine Waters off the streets
She is no Mother Therese

THE SLIPPERY SLOPE

We are living on the edge
Not too many chances left
To take back our country
From the grips of those on the left

The Walton Family is one of
The richest in this country
Walmart has erased competition
You can see the vanishing downtowns

Big Tech with their finance power
Buy off corrupt officials in many ways
Undermine our election rules
Undermine immigration policies

Poised to turn states blue
Ready to support Marxist socialism
Making the founders rich while
The uninformed barely surrive

It is all about power and control
And the honest worker pays the price
We are doomed to be turned under
Like topsoil under the blades of the plow

Our students are indoctrinated
We fail to teach the wonder of freedom
And how easy it is to lose
To understand all of the blood shed
For the purpose of freedom

Ignorance is an easy excuse but will
Not matter when we slip off the cliff

THE GREATER GOOD

Helping other people is like building a bridge
Don’t worry my friend; I only know a few cords
Ideological changes are not a surprise
Keeping them in check is not something new

We have a few willing to step up
To keep economics in line with physics
We have checks and balances – that we know
But corruption, so dynamic, has the floor

I have strummed this tune before
Perhaps off key, but my truth will prevail
We have to temper this ludicrousness
Or the principles of the Red, White, and Blue will fail

I strum out let’s all be equal
But this would be disingenuous
Because under this system the only equality
Would be that we are all equally in misery

Wokeism does not require trillions
Mislabeling what we are doing is communism
Corporate America is anti-America
The mob can only be bought off for a while

How long can congress be bought off then
Before all sides of the issue say – stop
Let us stop election fraud
And other inequalities that are so broad

Should Microsoft become China-soft?
Should the rich become richer and poor become poorer?
Corporate America is held in contempt
The desire to exist without paying rent

MARCHING ORDERS

Don’t we wish not to fail?
And if successful what separates
Us from the down trodden?

What did we do that was so different?
What have we said that was rejected by those
Who had the power to make a difference?

Some quiet down; get back inside themselves
Without realizing the value of their recompense
Some cannot handle freedom

Who are we to criticize?
Are we all not sinners and
Who of us deserved the cross?

We go along oblivious
Not recognizing others talents
So much we will never know

Still we walk around like conquerors
And so easily disregard responsibility
Act as if everyone is on their own

Our success requires us to prop up
And encourage others to do the same
We don’t just pass by the rubble pile

But ask for wisdom – a rather new style
To help these that are down at the present
Like we were helped at an earlier time

We empty ourselves, then we may wave the flag
Showing others that gratefulness for
Our own character is deserved

WE ARE NOT ALONE

One makes it through
Hailed as a hero
Nothing like it
Euphoria without drugs
Yes, you were a highway man
But many built that road
Some of them in prison
Which begs the question
Why wasn’t I included?
Their sins were my sins
My success depended on them
Life is not a game of who wins
So you reach deep for every cause
Lead the way – you bear the cross
Let me sing you a melody
It is all about what is family
Many know about the struggle
Farmers need help; real help
Who among us is going to step up?
Those of us who see the picture
As a giver you become a fixture
But you do not wave the banner
Too many others deserve the praise
The Father above is the One to whom we wave
No one walks the road alone
Not everyone can make a song come alive
We are thankful just to survive

WHEN AWARENESS BREAKS OUT

The sun breaks through on a cold April day
About a month of spring under our belt
No one promised us a level of paradise
It is up to ourselves to adjust to reality
Many time this is a very rough journey
Weather is one thing we can struggle through
We know it is bound to improve and
The waiting is somewhat or almost bearable

We wait patiently for reasonability to return
Do we want to radically change policing?
Criminal justice is in a state of flux
Systemic racism is a figment of imagination
Men and women – black and white love America
The radical left is trying to upset this dynamic
We do not need people in leadership to promote
Division or schools in the business of indoctrination

We want the atomic family and a reduction of welfare
No one, with exceptions, should be paid for idleness
We will keep safety nets in place for the distressed
Self-worth is established by individual contribution
Being on the take generation after generation is bad
It leads to a total disregard for individual responsibility
And additionally to voting for those making promises
Leftists love this as we are heading for Marxist Socialism

Seven-thirty and mister sun is very encouraging
Throwing its light on evergreens and tree trunks
The lichen is lit up in a coveted chartreuse
I thank the Creator for letting nature loose
The ebb and flow eventually leads to balance
This is the road we should all want to take
Respect for others and open-minded consideration
Is needed if we have any hope to save this nation

A HUMANITARIAN CRISIS

Everything was pretty good
Nothing is ever perfect, but
Our border was moving toward
Being secure and safe and closed
There were exceptions as there always are
Coyotes were still at work
The Mexican cartels did not go to sleep
Many arrests were made and
The flow of drugs and sex slaves
Had been reduced
Covid-19 was not helpful.
The Chinese Communist Party has its ways.
Our then president went to work
He was criticized for just being him, but
He was diligent in the development of vaccines

Now we have an occupant who
Is in bed with the CCP
His family has become rich – with Hunter
“lap-top” Biden leading the way
The occupant has signed executive orders
To open the border, stop the fence construction
And allow asylum seekers to get lost in our interior
Rather than keeping them in Mexico
Until their case could be heard
The former President had had this arranged
The problem is not only the Latin America
Exodus from their countries, but the
Array of people, most of them male criminals,
From all over the world. This is a plan
First the corrupt election and then the bell
Ringing out white privilege and systemic racism
You cannot bring back the peals nor can you
Retrieve all the feathers that have
Been released into the wind

Big Tech is underwriting this criminality
Anyone sensible is cancelled, especially
Those who speak against socialism and
Fear for the outcome of this once great country
We were on our way back but corruption,
Deceit and indoctrination brought us Joe-Joe
May God help us wake up

OH FOR WHAT TO CANCEL

In this cancel culture of ours
We will cancel ourselves
Having already cancelled
The police, the small business owners,
Non-mask wearers, ethics,
The border wall, immigration laws
We are working on cancelling guns
Then what? Knifes. And then the courts?
We have cancelled integrity, gender
Love of neighbor, consideration of others
We cancel Christianity and religion in general
Also liberties and honest elections
Education is cancelled
Replaced by indoctrination
We cancel fairness and righteousness
Cancel the middle class
Under the guise of taxes presented for
One thing, but used for everything else
The taxes are titled but the titles are cancelled
Beyond our ability to reconcile
If we could only cancel our foolishness
That would be the real cancel and
Open the doors to where all could succeed
We could cancel our purchases at
Amazon and Walmart and
Bring back our downtowns once more
But we are foolish and are like
Lambs being led to the slaughter by
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, Harris and
Joe-Joe who cancelled his integrity
A very long time ago
He should cancel Iran and Russia
And also timetables announced to the world
He has sold his soul to China as has
The leader of his opposition, McConnell
There are special places in the hereafter
For people like this which cannot be cancelled
We should cancel peaceful protests which
Take place at night under the cover of darkness
We will wait for the Light to overcome this
The Light cannot be cancelled

FROM HERE TO THERE AND BACK

Trees look sickly, especially in the mist
On a day that has been gray
When the sun has not been evident
Its early spring; roads are ruddy and dirty
There is an absence of grace
Except for the running streams
Evergreens are magnificent
Tamaracks look doubtful at this time
I feel like ice which is about to crack
The horizon is barely visible
Despondency seems quite natural
Even though integrated with meaningful prayer
I seem artificial as if having no cause
Meditating and contributing leaves me
Lusting for more; there has to be more
Beyond this; if only for just a glimpse
Sounds like a doubting Thomas, but normal
We all go through this and tomorrow
When it is the same who will there be to blame?
It is the rapture that I would like to capture
So much to know; the need to glow
In my own eyes if nothing more
A stranger passes – I say hello – end of story
I did not want conversation
What I say is the same for everyone
It is my job to keep track of these things
I will give a report but pass no judgements
And I cannot answer inquiries as to what
I am all about; the tides are steady
A lesson to everyone; they are amazing and
Have power manifested by the moon
Power in man does not equal this and
Will eventually put you in the ground while
Those suffering indignity will
Wear the everlasting crown
The sun will begin to shine and in a few weeks
Everything will be fine
Melancholy is not all bad
