Two little girls who are quite young
Their thoughts out size their clothes
Once familiar with you in the situation
They would meld into what would
Become a happy experience.
On the phone they were one-worders
They would holler our, “hello” or
“happy birthday” or whatever the
Occasion might be. Their interest lasts
For a few minutes, then they are
Back to what they were doing.
They love receiving mail, especially
Pictures and paper to draw on
Or scribble the best words they could.
They are happy children and are
Generally expressing joy. They
Will yell out goodbye when it
Is time do hang up. I feel lucky
Having two great-grandchildren
Who always seem to be happy.
They are never bored and bring
A sense of gladness to those
Around them.
