Day: June 1, 2025

Many times at night

Right before sleep

I think of words that

Go together and form

A nice bit of poetry

I should get up and

Write down the poem

But I put it off thinking

I’ll scribble it down tomorrow

But then in the morning

I try to think of my great work

And cannot bring it to mind

This is hard to accept but

I cannot punish myself

This happens to everyone

And we never learn

Someone asks me a question

I know the answer but

Cannot bring it to mind

The person leaves and

Five minutes later

I have the answer

Trumpeting in my mind

I am the only one happy

The only one aware

I get a pad and pen

Take it to my bedside table

Think about taking a nap

Realize it could ruin my

Chances of scoring tonight

I pick up another pad and

Find a pencil and sit down

To write another muse

Nothing comes to mind

So I decide to write down

Some thoughts that I have

Life is a gift and miracle

Each moment of the day

And night are miracles

The bird that flies by

Knows where to go for food

This is awesome and a miracle

A GLORIOUS DAY

Today is a glorious day.

One that is to be treasured.

We should all use it to good purpose

We gather and pray together that

Everything will be okay. Prayer is good,

But we also need action if we are to

Go forward in our journey to heaven.

There is much to do. the world is in

Chaos including our country. People

Mistake power and control as leadership

And are content in destroying our

Lives and subjecting us to Marxist Socialism

Soon there is no productivity and we

Fall into ruin. We must start no and

Embrace leadership which will turn us

Around and restore religion and rights.

And update our schools and do away

With unions which control what is being

Taught and indoctrinated. We need a new

Chapter of individualism, where people

Do their own thinking and come to the

Conclusion that they know as true.

Only then can we advance and grow.
