NOT WHAT YOU THINK

The fact that you are usually correct

Can sometimes be quite boring

I like challenges and finding solutions

Remain as an idea person

The trouble with finding the answers

Is that you are requested to implement them

This goes against my grain

One should not necessarily lead to the other

It takes courage to identify the problem

Another venture to find the answer

Perhaps the greatest mettle required is to execute it

I don’t desire to get into a competition

Just want to leave the place better

For my having been there

This is not feeding an ego, but

Living up to a personal code

The obvious is not always in plain sight

Intuitiveness, many times, presents the answer

Then the fun begins as many will challenge

Or put up the hoops through which one must jump

This may be discouraging and many refuse

Thus a good project comes to a halt

No purpose is served when this happens

Frustration and disengagement sets in

There are no winners; no win-wins

Just a bunch of lonely people
