I cannot plan these things

Wednesday night I counted nineteen deer

From my home to the highway

A total of six miles

This morning in the snow

I approach three deer

They begin to run west

One tenth of a mile

They are still running

Then one swerves from the right and

Jumps a snow bank on the left

Another tenth of a mile

The second swerves from the right

Leaps a bank on the left and runs to safety

The third keeps running

By this time it has been a quarter of a mile

It feigns left then runs and leaps a snow bank on the right

I proceed while applying political implications

To the events of the deer, just witnessed

Then I come upon three wild turkeys

They slowly scamper to the left and then

As though it would kill them lift about four feet

To clear the snow bank on the left

They do not wish to exert themselves

I decide to add up the score

Five to the left and one to the right

The left are right about one-fifth of the time

That, so far, would make the score 4 to 2, left leading

Then I think of all the lies on the left and

How lazy are about getting things done for everyone’s welfare

In the long run you cannot put your money on liars

So I declare for the right

Winners by the score of two to zero

I continue on to church to pray for the left

I will not judge because I do not wish to be judged/

The Washington D.C. bunch

A thousand more or less

Seeking total control

No accountability

Selling their souls

Power is their God

Full of lies, deception and fraud

Will never achieve their goal

Light will overcome their darkness

The whole system will unravel

Our enemies are shrewd

They are here

Operating within

With our invitation

Then in thanks

They steal intellectual property

Act as if everything is normal

We have turned a blind eye

Some of us, however not all

Others care a whole lot

The former occupant

Took bold measures

To reign in China’s evil

Was having an apparent affect

Now a new occupant

Family in bed with China

The media is quiet

Good policies reversed

Potential consequences ignored

What are we to do?

Soldiers sent to war

Many come back fractured

But are soon forgotten

Until the last occupant

Did things to improve condition

For those broken and needing help

Border wall and agreements with Mexico

New occupant puts an end to the wall

Allows illegals to be released into country

Instead of being retained in Mexico

Who does this help?

Citizens are terrified because of

The dangerous people being released

Some traffic in humans or drugs

Others satisfied with murder and rape

What are this D.C. bunch doing to us?

We are stunned with the Wuhan Virus

Incredible gains by the former occupant

Are reversed because of fiats by

Those in charge of our well being

Close down small businesses

Big box stores open but limited

On what they can sell

Churches shut down

Stay sequestered at home

Depression, suicides, drug use,

Alcohol and abuse rise

Then the riots because of the

Wrongful death of George Floyd

The former occupant while

Promoting warp speed vaccine production

Offers to make the National Guard

Available to the cities where the

Peaceful protests are taking place

As then transform into looting, murder,

Injury, millions of dollars in structural damage,

But liberal leaders decline and watch

Their cities being destroyed by Marxist Groups

Such as Black Lives Matter and Antifa

The media is silent as is the “bunch”

Former occupant defeated in flawed election

New occupant points out all the failures

Signs many fiats which he has not read

Or possibly cannot understand, which

Reverses many of the gains which brought

Our country back to prominence and

Where world leaders began to respect

America for what we truly were

Say good-night my friends

The fat lady is singing

The over-ripe plum is about to fall

Even when you actuate

The release of the truth

Deniers do not listen

They suppress reality

Leaving many in the dark

We look at the occupant

He is putting America last

Campaign promises made

Promises never kept

Reverses President Trump’s

Actions making us first

Follow the science – No

Follow the money – the

Strategy of the left

Think about it

Look at the reality

All of the jobs lost

In the energy sector

Is the occupant a dictator?

It looks that way

Opening up the border

Putting a stop on the wall

Pushing for a Covid-19

Relief package of which

Nine percent is actually

Going to give relief

The rest will bankrupt

Our grand children

Listen, don’t you see

You do not have a party

The old Democrat Party

Is now the Marxist Socialist Party

The real Republican Party

Is now the Deplorable Group

Isn’t it time to wake up?

What do we want

Our country to be?

Children out of school

Unions in control

Indoctrination on hold

Do away with our

Energy independence

For what reason other

Than the false climate ideology

How many jobs impacted

What is the number

Of businesses affected

Closed or bankrupted?

May we wake up or

Is that asking too much?

Life, liberty and the

Pursuit of happiness

Let us not destroy this by fiat

Then there are those who say

Our country is systemic racist

Racism does exist

It may be generational or

Territorial, but in my eyes

I do not see most people

As outright racists as

They love all people as

Children of the creator

And follow the teachings

Of Christian people around

The world even as the left

Creates the illusion that

We are a divided people

If we are it is not because of race

Most want nuclear families

Real education for all students

Without accompanying indoctrination

They desire successful minority businesses

Want diverse police forces

Minorities have been used by the left

Promises made to them but never kept

True believers in equality are repelled by this

The minorities are waking up

They read the news and know the facts

Understand how the media suppresses and distorts

They see who has really done their bidding

And understand promises made and kept

They are beginning to understand that

Being used is not a good thing

We should all be pulling for each other

Differences should not be a factor

We become stronger by coming together

We reject that this is impossible, but

Adhere to the concept that all men

Are created equal and endowed by

Our creator with certain inalienable rights of

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness

How can so many on the left be so wrong

Distance existed

Several states

Numerous counties

A safe range

Misgivings present

Excuses offered

Verification impossible

Heart strings strummed

No longer a teacher

Just a facilitator

Principal alarmed

Student skipping class

Look at the miles

So many cities

Task mastering difficult

Easier to give pity

Mouth flying like a plane

There comes a time

To end the nonsense

You must walk the line

You never liked hearing

Advice from me, did you

You would rather tell your stories

Then to face up to any miscue

Humility is a wonderful virtue

Just offering a clue

No flowers in the winter garden

Or I would send some to you

We think all is well if things

are going well for us, but if

any one of us is suffering in

anyway, then all is not well.

We have the inherent

responsibility to take care

of our brothers and sisters

and make sure they heal

properly and get back on

the road of righteousness.

It is not a responsibility to

be taken lightly and it is

not always an easy task.

We may be required to go

to the fringes and spend

our valuable time helping

others. It should be a

familiar place this is where

Jesus wants us. We should

find happiness there as

we are doing the work he

has put us in place to do.

I doubt that those

opposing conservative ideas

have any notion of what

the consequences will be

The border wall was discontinued

We welcome illegal immigrants,

now called non-citizens,

and will pay with taxpayer

dollars their housing, healthcare,

and food.  In reality is this possible

when we are already in enormous debt?

Do we question who these guests are?

Are they infected with the Wuhan virus?

Do they have criminal records?

Have they been involved with

being coyotes importing deadly drugs

or confined persons who are sex objects?

We do not intercede, but accept

There is no accountability and

belief exists that the cages housing children

belong to President Trump

instead of Obama and Biden

ignorance is no excuse for reality

Texas wind power was frozen as

were their energy sources, almost

destroying their energy grid

Embracing green energy alone

is nothing but a farce.  We need

coal, natural gas, nuclear, solar, and oil,

basically a combination of everything

When will the climate change ideologues

ever learn?  If man could cause change

then they could stop it.

Weather and climate are cyclical, but

We will circle back on that

Every fault of those they dislike

Make predictions that never come true

Never step up to the plate to acknowledge

Shift their share of the blame

Wave the flag of courage

Then leave the mess for the deplorable

Where are the wizards

It is an old story

Envy one’s accomplishments

Downplay integrity

Forget about the odds

Anyone could have done it

Only they didn’t

The best they had to offer

Failed miserably

Where are the wizards?

The world is in a sad state

Disease, genocide, retraining camps

Murders of Christians

Assaults on the Jewish people

Starvation of people all over the globe

Sex-slave trafficking, illegal migration

Smuggling dangerous, tainted drugs

Sanctuary cities; infanticide

Where re the wizards

The carbon hoax

The climate hoax

The energy hoax

The population hoax

Where are the wizards?

They are out perpetrating

That is what they do

Everyone else is debased

Irredeemable

A MEDITATION BY STEVE HAARMAN

Our faith must not be just about

ourselves and the good we do

but about all of us and the joint

Improvement of conditions. Free will

allows us to stray, but our purpose

stays strong. We are all living on the

foundation built for us by Jesus. But

still we do not all walk together

Some will stray, only to return. Their

bad deeds are forgotten and like the

Prodigal son their return is cause for

a celebration and they are welcomed

as though they had never left. When

we are personally offended and the

offender returns for forgiveness we

should be ready to forgive and celebrate.

This is the spirit or love that Christ

taught us. It is a lesson worth learning.
