SHADOWS

The sun is out today and there are

Shadows. The glare of the sun on

Lake Michigan is almost blinding.

I have shadows on my eyes. Who

Are the shadows speaking to. They

Speak to me. I have let myself down

Missing opportunity. I want my sh

Shadows to come from golden light

In the sky. Then new mornings will

Dawn with hope on the horizon for

A bright future for our community

And churches. We must keep moving

Forward even when the grey mornings

May be depressing. We look forward for

The Holy Spirit, who will guide us. We

Have Jesus to shepherd us, and God the

Father, who is always with us. Whether

It is the sun of troubled waters, we will

Succeed and the shadows will disappear.
