After days of gray and rain
We are met with sunshine
It is a good feeling and
Lifts the spirits. The lake
Is calm with no waves.
A seagull out on the
Water is fishing. It moves
From spot to spot, hoping
To spot a prey. The wildflowers
Are all in bloom and there
Is beauty to behold.
The bugs are pesty and
Can drive one nuts. They
May vanish as the day heats
Up. With all the rain the
Grass needs mowing.
With electric mowers the
Job is delightful and it looks
So nice when you finish.
