Everything was bright
Almost blinding
One squinted to see what was
Just in front of him.
Then, almost like magic
Everything turned gray
You could see and be peaceful
I wondered how long this
Phenomenon would las
I did not have a timer so I
Would have to guess
I took a walk into the woods
There everything was gray
Various shades and all very
Elegant. I was amazed
How could all of this happen
In a split second.
I saw a little crack beyond
A large tree in front of me
I spread the opening and
Beautiful sunshine broke through
Everything was normal again
I felt at peace and laid down
When I woke up I walked home
Happy that things were okay.
