From time to time we all have wounds

We have heard that time heals all wounds

This is the good news of our daily life

Sometimes we are wounded by others

It is time to imitate our savior Jesus

We wounded Him and still do with our sins.

He gave up His life amidst suffering and pain

The end result is that he healed us and

Gave us back, our right to claim heaven.

Sometimes, when we are weak, we are

Not willing to forgive. We forget about

Imitating Jesus. Later we must ask, Him

For forgiveness for our shortcomings.

We should always remember to do onto

Others as we would have them do onto us.

Words are just words unless

There is meaning attached to

Them. I hear pleading and when

Met, the words are as silent as

The action is still. They were a tool

And those who took pity were fools.

The learn the difficult way while the

One who fooled goes to the high

Ground and sings a song of victory.

There is always a day of reckoning,

And we are apt to hear the words

All over again, because lessons are

Not learned easily. The pleading

Falls on ears which do not wish to

Hear, because they are listening for

Something new and do not have

Time to waste on those who cry,

“wolf” too often.

The feeling is that it is over

But there is beauty everywhere

Red leaves in the sunshine

Waves floating to the shore

Birds in flight from tree to tree

The horizon crisp on a semi-gray day

Everything is not perfect

Sorrow may be in our hearts

The loss of loved ones prevalent

But isn’t that the way of life?

We keep our eyes open, looking

For the phenomenal and when

We find it we are awestruck,

Hoping it comes again tomorrow.

Now and then we see the beauty

In other people’s deeds. Then we

Give thanks again as we listen to

The whisper of the trees. The sun

May disappear for a while and this

will let us down, but it will be back,

On that you can put your money down.

We tend to want things perfect and

To exist without fear, but there are

Desperate people out there who

Are liable to be too near. We pray for

Them and stay thankful for what we have.

A walk in the woods; found a

walking stick, picked it up and wiped it

clean. The woods were suddenly empty and

I was in the Tunnels of Gaza. I touched the stick,

 to the concrete and the tunnel was flooded.

Everything was sand and water. No electricity

but my stick had a magic light that never

Went out. I opened the southern wall to Egypt and

Was met by welcoming people. they had transformed and

Wondered if I had known Eisenhauer. He was our president

For eight years and had warned of these situations.

The terrorists had vanished. There was no sign

Of them or Hezbollah. Iran and Qatar were transferring

Billions of dollars to America. The illegal

Immigrants were marching south

Across the Rio Grande into Mexico.

All of the illegal traffic stopped.

Our cities returned to normal. I

Looked at my walking stick. There

Were words carved on it. They

Read, “This staff belongs to Jesus”.

May they prosper who love you

May peace be within your walls.

Lift up the Jewish people facing

Storm, ridicule and persecution.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Ash God to protect the Jewish

People in their homeland. Pray

Against terrorism. Pray for strength

And courage for the people of Israel.

Intercede for the Jewish people who

Are fleeing persecution right now in

The former Soviet Union and much

Of the Muslim World including Gaza.

Pray that God’s light overcomes

All darkness covering the Jewish

People. Pray that the Jewish homeland

Will soon be a safe place for the Jews

Pray that peace will soon prevail over

The Middle East and that the Jews will

Be recognized as God’s Chosen People.

We, in this world, keep making

The same mistakes over and over.

One would think that we would

Learn. It reminds me of the time

I walked up an icy driveway only

To slide back, to the bottom of the

Slope. Then started up again, with

The same results. I finally slipped

And fell on my head causing a bump

And bleeding. I proceeded to the

Church, we had mass before school,

And those who saw me were aghast.

I couldn’t tell them the truth and let

Them fuss over me. Now we are

Watching another war over land and

Religion. It is sad to watch our Socialist

Students slander and cry out for the

Slaughter of the Jews while pulling for

The Palestinians who in years past

Were rejected by every Arab country

In the neighborhood and the PLO was

Formed. Finally, Israel gave up some of

Their land but the bottom line was the

Land was not wanted. It was the destruction

Of the Jews that was wanted and still is.

Father, wake us up.

Looking for and finding

The path that God wants

Us on can be daunting. It

May take a lifetime, but

When we find it we will

Realize that every minute of

Search was worth it. As we

Listen to the Spirit we grow

In confidence that we can

Follow the Lord wherever He

Takes us. We know that the

Journey will be worthwhile

And we will suffer no harm,

But only joy.

Today I put my jacket on

I turned up the collar

The wind was blowing

Chill was in the air

I moved forward with

My head down in thought

It wasn’t about how lucky

I was, but what a screwed up

Mess we have made of our

Lives here on earth. We leave

Our borders open and watch

Hundreds of thousands of

Illegal immigrants cross into our

Country and do not know where

They will wind up. We see the gang

In D.C. cheering for the Palestinians

And pulling for Humas to kill as

Many Jews as they can. I shrug my

Shoulders as I feel colder. Someone

Elected these officials who at best can

Only say, “No comment”. The promised

Land will always belong to the Jews.

Ultimately, God will protect them.

We need leadership which will make

Us strong again. So much damage to

The infrastructure of Israel, Gaza, Russia,

And the Ukraine. So foolish.

We all seem to be waiting for

Someone else to solve our problem.

Good luc with that. We have to look

In the mirror and ask what the Lord

Requires of me and for whom God is

Asking me to do justice and have mercy

Upon. I pray that I will continue to grow

More like Jesus and be humble in mu

Walk with God. Life can be complicated

But to stop ad help someone and give

Them help is not all that stressful. Feed

The hungry, give water to the thirsty and

Shelter to the homeless. If we cannot do

These things alone then we can take those

In need to places that can provide. That is

What Jesus would do and if we want to be

Like Him, then that is what we should do.

We have one life and should strive to live

It well. In this Thanksgiving season, we

Should be thinking of these things and

Make new resolve to keep reflecting on

Them, especially as we enter the cold

Season and the needs grow.

While bombs and other military

Attack materials are flying over Israel,

And Gaza, leaving the sky and air dark

With smoke and ashes and the ground

Eith fallen buildings, we see out of our

Windows a blue inland sea, deep blue sky

With some gray and white clouds. I know

That this is not how things should be in

The world. How can men of wisdom, who

Subscribe to some religion wish this to be,

Where innocents on both sides are dying,

Some after being tortured and persecuted.

This is not what any sane person wants and

Still in our country we have leaders who hate

Jews and wish to see them annihilated. This

Does not speak well of our representatives.

And they should be voted out of office, in my

Opinion. Eventually the Light will overcome

This darkness and the Prince of Peace will

Have His say. The chosen people will survive

As they have been promised and it is sad when

We have one country funding Hamas and Hezbollah

With money which does not even belong to them.

We will watch destruction and death until

We can finally come to our senses.
