RAIN OR SHINE

We pray for rain when

The appropriate time comes

Then for sunshine

Every bit of nature should

Fall in line with our desires

It is sheets of rain or a

Plethora of sunshine to

The point we pray for a

Cool breeze to balance

Things out. The seasons vary

They always have and always

Will. We must adjust for them

Not the other way around

The great harvest time is here

People are canning everything

That is preservable and then

Displaying it on Facebook, hoping

For positive comments. They usually

Get a few, plus a modicum of

Jealousy left unspoken. We are

A funny lot, living with excess

While trying to help others, who

Have fallen short on the

Achievement side of life. Maybe

We will eventually get this balanced

Out.
