The morning light lit the treetops.
The sun was doing its work.
Leaves have already begun to color.
The season we waited for so long,
Is here and beginning to drift by
Rapidly. Nature has its own notion.
We can only wait and watch.
For now, we will enjoy what is given
We will look for beauty and forever
Be aware of it and thankful for it.
There are those who are indifferent.
They could care less and always
Seep to be complaining. They are
Making plans for next year and
Not quite sure of what they want
To do or how much money they
Must spend on renewals and updates.
I look across the water and see bright
Clouds below a beautiful blue sky.
There is little breeze and the waves are
Just ripples barely making it to shore.
It is fun to plan and I hope to have
My landscape planned during the coming months
It is a dreamy and fun thing to do over
The cold winter. I look forward to that but
First want to enjoy the autumn season.
