ROUTINE

We all understand routines. Some are automatic.

We follow them every day taking the steps without

Thinking; indifferent to things about us.

We plod on until interrupted. Suddenly we don’t know

Which way to turn or whether we should just stand

And let things clear on their own. An honest soul

may not do that. Action is required and we must act

prudently. Solve whatever came before us.

When we do this often enough it becomes automatic

and we wake up to the fact that we have

Duties to fulfill along our wandering path and

these duties cost nothing, except a little bit of time

and may save others from harmful situations and

embarrassment. You may become the go to man

Where people say take it to you as

You will know what to do. you know

How to solve problems. You have

Gone from a “sleepwalker” to a leader

People have respect for you and

Voice it time and time again

Although it makes you feel good you

Do not become euphoric, but rather dedicate

yourself to this new way of life. You are setting an

example that others may be eager to follow and

you are thankful.
