I have so much to do and so little time.
Injuries have slowed me down
I am anxious to heal and get back to
A routine which allows me to accomplish
Things which are substantial. I can
Handle the discomfort and pain, but
Feel bad about not doing the things
I love to do. Not many know how
Much landscaping I did at the
Lutheran and Presbyterian churches.
It was a lot and took six years to get
It to where it was two years ago. Since
I wasn’t there no one has picked up
The ball and made continued progress.
This saddens me and I am left with the
Hope of recovery from my ailments.
When February comes, I will know.
It takes twenty-four months for torn
Ligaments to heal. If mine follow suit
I will be back with weeder, wheelbarrow,
And garden tools. I wait patiently.
