RIGHT-WING DISINFORMATION

We hear from the haughty one

An equal, he has none

In exclaiming about the state of the world

And how we are almost done

It is pretty extraordinary that

When a select group of beings

Get together to save the planet

The courage is more remarkable than it seems

They fly their jets to talk about climate

To them, a money-making plum

Articulating self-congratulations

Assuming that the rest of us are dumb

The French-looking blowhard

Doesn’t mention the emissions of jets

His mind must be on the sex workers

Success there will win all the bets

Taking jets to a ski resort to lament

Climate change is an ongoing tradition

Few spouses, if any, were brought along

They resent this and call it disinformation

We are improving the state of the world

Are the words of this select panel

You must trust nongovernment groups

And why our meeting has to be annual

Never mind who we cavort with

Says the man who served in Vietnam

The world’s oldest professions together

Like magic words from the book of Psalms

We think of the impossible and wish we could conquer it.

How did our relatives from the past affect the

next generation time and time again?
We go back so far until we realize we will never find

the beginning. We are not frustrated, but our curiosity

has taken a blow. We can go back as far as possible and

realize that our language and intuitions can be traced

accurately. There is some history we would like to dismiss

but we know this is not possible. We lumber on behaving in

similar ways without knowing that this is inevitable.

We wish to be our own person, but with few exceptions,

we are drawn back as though with a magnet and fall in line

into the path which we are bound to travel. If we escape

the pull and find success outside the fold, we are either founded

upon or praised. The frown calls for retaliation, while the praise

calls for new leadership. These, in the sum of life, can be confusing

and there is usually chaos leading to the disruption of good plans.

We must settle down and look at life from the bottom up rather

than the top down. Things become more clear and our

decisions on what to do next come to us in droves. Then it is up

to us to invite them to listen or go about their business.

This may be hurtful to some, but you cannot have it both ways,

that is the critic without fresh ideas of their own.

You realize that your obligations are to

the next generation. This, too, is not an easy assignment

but you are compelled to follow through if you want to

improve and strengthen your linage. Words from the

past are still used, but you do not hear “thunderation”

very often. It has been replaced by foul language or

cursing which is a violation of our faith. You are called

now to lead by example. This is funny because you are

the one calling for it. You look forward to finding collaborators

who will help you and eventually replace you as

you move on to do the things you are destined to do.

Keeping things light, with the Light in mind can be so comforting.

We are a nation that thrives because of kindness

and goodness. We feel that every person deserves

to have the chance to succeed and prosper.

The principles of freedom and liberty are what guide

us and are manifested by all in this land that is so diverse.

Lessons are continually learned by all regardless of age,

gender, circumstance, and so on. Our success depends

on our compassion and graciousness, which show up in

our character. This character is passed along with

gratitude from generation to generation. Good

relationships form and families and friendships flourish.

Their connection with the creator is essential and the

realization of the need for education to develop critical

thinking is foremost. Immorality is frowned upon.

It usually exists among immature people who seek

only for themselves. They are value-driven and

They also seek power and have the need to control.

They feel that normal righteous people can be

governed by them because they are elitists and can

enrich themselves in the process. They believe, like

those now with their private jets, in Devos, Switzerland

that we should do as they say not as they do. They do

not plead for virtue and without virtue we cannot

survive because it is the heart of America and essentially

what makes us great and worth defending. When this

integrity is lost, society breaks down, and the nation is

doomed to fail. We begin to find fault with each other,

forget about God and education and basically become

corrupt. Justice is also corrupt and the media becomes

water carriers for one group over another. It is time

then to put people in office who will attempt to restore

what was so good. This is no small task, but must be done

now or we will perish as the last great hope. We will not

be destroyed by those doing evil but by those who sit by

and watch it happen. Let us not be the generation

responsible for this.

How romantic it sounded. A family out on the prairie

working together to survive and having fun doing it.

They had respect for each other, and all worked hard

at their assigned jobs. There was a bit of music,

but not all the time. It took a couple of years to build

a 400-square-foot house with three windows, which

was unusual at the time. It took time to ready the fields

and crops of wheat were planted along with the usual

vegetable gardens which were needed for food.

They had a few animals. Then the locusts hit and wiped

out the wheat crop. The father tried to smoke them out

to no avail, and the next year, they lost the wheat crop

again as the eggs of the locusts buried in the ground

hatched and devastated their corp. He then did odd

jobs and helped neighbors, and then they had to move

and continued to move from place to place trying to

find something which would allow them to settle down

again. The television show produced by Michael Landon

presented a glamorous life compared to the reality

they lived. This was the life on the prairie. People lived

in carved-out mounds of the earth while building and trying

to make a go of it. There was very little communication

between them and their relatives and once they said

goodbye, it was probably the last time they would ever

see them. It makes our misgivings seem mild in comparison.

The children grew and drifted away to start their own lives.

Sadness and heartache had to be a normal thing.

As towns developed there was some social life, but

this, too, was limited. Our complaints today are about

conditions which would have been luxurious to them.

They went on until they no longer could and death

seemed to be a welcome respite from their misery.

Their virtues were courage and steadfastness.

Life on the prairie, hundreds of miles from nowhere.

Here, take these. You’ll need them. The Arctic Circle

may be melting, but it is still very cold. But they know.

Scientists have recorded more ice masses at both poles

and disproved all the melting on snowcapped mountains,

 the rising oceans, the boiling oceans, Florida and

New York City under water. The red-faced Al Gore

said that from space, you can see the thin blue line

around the earth, which is our air, not the NYC

police force or what is left of them, and we are filling

it with carbon dioxide at the rate of many atomic bombs

each day with our pollution. It may be disinformation,

but it sounds good and causes fear in the hearts of

the many and is aimed at improving the state of the world.

The haughty John Kerry, a self-proclaimed climate czar,

who served in Vietnam and travels the world in a private jet,

and was almost president, thought it was extraordinary,

that a select group of beings were able to sit in a room

and come together and talk about saving the planet.

They talked about war, climate change, gender inequality,

the high cost of living and political instability that comingle

to threaten a reversal of all they have accomplished up to now.

The airport is lined with private jets, and big SUVs take them

to the meeting hall where high-priced sex workers are booked

into the same hotels as these high-powered bosses, who are

world leaders and business tycoons, and love to rub shoulders

each year and later have the high-priced prostitutes to soothe

away the stress they are under. Ronald Reagan once said that

politics is the second oldest profession and bears a striking

resemblance to the first. Was he right? They are eating steaks

while telling us to eat bugs. We can’t just jump into a car and

hit the road and it is okay for an adult male to walk into a

locker room while a teenage girl is taking a shower. 

These elites, though, can take jets which totally emit the

 emissions of around 300 thousand cars, and cavort with

expensive sex workers. I read a book once called “A world

I never made,” and the above is an example.

Sometimes we are dazzled by our

own inadequacies. We want to be

something that we do not have the

talent to be. We get frustrated and

want to quit on life or on our efforts

to explore other possibilities. The

 exceptional are that because they

are exceptional, having talent that

supersedes the normal. We must live

with who we are and if that makes us

unhappy, then we should work on

developing a talent we haven’t

discovered up to now. One never

knows where that road will lead and

often it leads to being extraordinary

in a field that we had no notion of

being in. You are who you are and

must live with that unless you want

to change. In life, we have the excuse

makers or the victims who have reasons,

at least in their minds, for being in their

present situation. Things will stay the

same unless they do away with the

alibies and focus on improvement.

It may not be an easy move, but things

worthwhile are often not. If you

are lazy or have some feeble notion

that you cannot or are unwilling to

even try, then you better get used

to the idea that you are who you are

and nothing is going to change.

Remember that you equals you.

If that is upsetting, then it should be

time to act.

We stand still in one place

Not knowing what to do

We have given it much thought

But are afraid to move

We know we are being watched

People, you know, are curious

They will race to watch me

Take off and enter the race

Which way to go is the question

Uphill, downhill or on a level plain

Just keep going and don’t look back

They will watch you all the same

You disappear from their sight

Knowing you’ll never be back

Scores of places waiting for you

And it is up to you to pick

It is to the west that you decide

The rivers and mountains have an appeal

You’ll find work as a handyman

And work with your special zeal

After a while, you have improved things

Feel its time to move on to find

Another location where you think

That they’ll have room, and off you go

You decide to mail a postcard

To the folks, you left behind

What will they think when they

See mountains that stand a mile high

I’ll hike through them when I have time

They will be happy if they even care,

That I am doing fine. All the time

They wasted, waiting for me to decide

I went to the four corners and then

To the ocean, working when I had the notion

I married and had three children

Who thought moving around was a dread

I looked back at what would be my legacy

Weeks went on to months and soon years

When I took my final journey

I had lost all my fears

Figuring it out is the easy thing to do

You know what must be done

Others also know

The question is about courage

Who will be the one to step up

The opposition may be fierce

It would be easy to lay low

And rely on the status quo

But moving forward will not allow

Hurt feelings will be in the picture

We had better think this over

Do what we must do in a way that

Is clear and professional

To tell someone that they are

No longer needed and will have to go

It is not an everyday task

We have done the facing up

Now we will get on with the task

It would be best to have a meeting

This should be handled face to face

A letter received in the mail

Would lack the respect and grace

We are sorry that it has come to this

But we are meeting to let you know

We must terminate our arrangement

Your services which we did request

Were carried out with strength and zest

Now they are folding over, weak at best

Our budget is crumbling, and your vacation

Time expanding, the contract expiring

Our situation must come to a rest

We appreciate what you have done

Have a bonus for you, excessive to some

But will get you by until you decide

Where you will go, you cannot stay

And somehow, we will get along

This is not easy to do, but we are

Down to only a few with no one to blame

We will share this information in a letter

Of recommendation, then you

Can be on your way. We thank you for

What you have done. We wish you well.

Many times, you feel alone

Your kind of feeling

You discover you must take

A journey to where you have

Never been before

The idea is exciting until you begin

To dwell on your inadequacies as

You start for what lies ahead

Your independency begins

To waver and fear takes over

There is no roadmap to look at

No one there to ask for the way

Your calmness vanishes and

Demurring takes its place

It is then that you remember

The One who knows all paths

And has a sacred love for you

You talk to Him in a way

That is more than just a prayer

You need His help, not just for

The moment to relax you, but

For the wholeness of your

Journey. You know he knows

Every path, twisted or straight

You beseech Him for help and

As the path becomes clearer

To you, you forget about Him

Until you become confused again

The idea would be to stay in

Constant touch with Him,

Thanking Him along the way

As you whisper His name with

Thanks for His being with you

You realize how shallow you are

And pray for strength, promising

To stay true with Him and

Asking for forgiveness. You

There are times when we are

Blown away by certain events

What is really happening? Our

Present resolve or firmament

Breaks down and we seem to

Fall away from the principles

We had not because we had

Intended to but because they

No longer seemed to carry the

Light we were guided by. We

Feel limp and lifeless. We feel

Alone and slowly realize we

Must rise and assume a new

Posture and position on what

Is important to us. We do this

Quietly, trying to safeguard

Each new step that we take

On this unusual journey of

Listening and following the

Quiet sounds of new truths

Which are going to be the

Basis of our new make up

This may happen fast or be

A slow awakening, but it will

Be the mold of our new person

It will be the light we follow

Not knowing for sure if it

Will be everlasting or of

We are apt to go through

Another transformation as

We go forward. We have

But one life and to be sure

We need solid ground and

Bright light to keep us balanced

As we listen, we should seek

The sounds that will be our

Truth and not be afraid to

Incorporate them into our

New being, a being where

Fear is not welcome.
