This! True 10 years ago and still true today.
I’ve witnessed & been part of many talks on this subject over the years. I’ve heard the politicians speak loud and clear too. People so convinced that those of us who choose LIFE are wicked and are not to be trusted as we dare think we should tell a woman what to do. I’ve been dumped for my opinion on the matter and I have prayed for years over it all. And God has since shown my heart that killing Children (from conception up until the hours of birth here in the USA) is a huge reason generations of people DO NOT VALUE LIFE.
I know the stats. 95% of babies killed are killed NOT because of rape or incest; NOT because of the babies’ health, NOR the mother’s health but rather because it’s convenient & readily accepted in today’s society. **Now is our chance to change that! Teach our youngest that life matters.
I hear many people yelling that killing is their right. Too many say that not allowing women to kill their babies will destroy women’s health and the women will die. And far too many claims that if they have medical emergencies during pregnancies that is the exact SAME as elective abortion. (That LIE has got to stop.)
I’ve not heard one person on that side of the discussion say that in order to support women’s health we must help them with their struggle to have a baby. We must show the baby AND the mother love.
Why is no one saying that?
Why is there not even one bit of talk about adoption!?
I believe, if we really care about women we will help women make healthy choices for their minds, bodies, and spirits. We can help them see that, what feels like a burden, may very well be a gift. The gift of life!
YES A GIFT! To the child and to the family they are raised in! A gift to their community!
NOW IS OUR CHANCE TO SHINE!!! Let’s think it through and talk it through, in LOVE and heartfelt convictions. Let’s love one another! God has given us a 2nd chance at LOVE. 
My daughter, Lisa knows more than a few young people who have profound regrets over their actions and loss. Let us not put critical thinking aside. Let us ask God Almighty for forgiveness for abortions and all genocide.
