At dawn it was cold
The end of June, but
By noon the sun beamed off
The waves like strobe lights
Hundreds if not thousands
Of blinding lights affecting
Anyone gazing upon them
In a way we are like those
Lights, each affecting someone
Sometimes in a favorable way
Often causing irritation
We basically try to do well
Nurturing and putting a
Positive spin on things
Which may have been upsetting
Pictured rocks, three hundred
Million years old show off
Beautiful landscapes and
Jesus, here two thousand
Years ago, taught us love
Like the weather changing
In twenty-four hours, our
Attitudes also change for
Better or worse. Our emotions
Are stirred by the weather
And its consequences
Nature is forever changing
And we tend to change also
The awesomeness of words
Written in the last three thousand
Years compete with the facts
Of things happening millions
Of years ago. Stars and galaxies
Have things happening that
May or may not be so different
From what is happening at
Our planet, a two-year trip away
I am warming up at noon as the
Sun rises in the blue sky. Such
A little thing but still something
Three hours or millions of years
A miracle every moment
