I look at the calm Lake Michigan
And see ducks and geese swimming by
No hassles, every bird is on its own
They go underwater for food
Come up and continue
The sun is shining and in the
Southeast there is a strobe-like effect
Nature has its ways of prompting
Various responses by man and animals
Including insects and birds
We are helpless and cannot cause
Nature to change and also cannot
Cause climate change
In the 1970s there was clamor about
How we were moving into an
Ice-age and it was our fault
When that didn’t work out they
Reported that we were causing
The earth to heat up. They used
The same words, just substituting
Heat or cold and when the temperatures
Averaged the same they changed
The name of their scheme to
Climate change. Of course, it was
Man-made. America came up with
Many regulations to put an end to
The approaching disaster. They
Blamed it all on carbon emissions
Carbon is needed for the growth of
Trees and plants and exchanges it
For oxygen. Those who could
Regulated oil and gas exploration
The wind direction changed and the
Waves are moving in a different
Pathway and we have no say
We can say this: Evil people are
Attempting to destroy America
There is no green energy. Then costs
Of producing it are greater then
The value received from them
