KNOWING THE TRUTH

I know everything I know, understanding most of it.

I sometimes hear others remarking on what they think I know.

In my mind, it is foolish of them because they are so far

from the reality of my being that they will go to

the Netherlands not understanding or knowing.

There are brave remarkable people who project

themselves as sages who have the answers, but

they are as clueless as rats in the sewers.

There are only a few who are accurate in my truth.

Sages only gather information and come to

some inaccurate conclusions.  They usually collect a fee for

their service which in my mind delegitimizes it.

Anyone can predict or conclude if the money is right and

if they are wrong which they usually are they can use

the excuse that they did not have all the facts.

The Almighty One knows my truth, along with my angel

and myself, if this sounds redundant please don’t think

that I make any claims as to being on the same plain as God,

although I will give the angel a run for the prize.

This is not important.  What is however is that

there are souls or people who make these

ridiculous claims of superiority and flawless knowing.

As the snowflakes drop to the ground, I call out fool, fool,

fool, and so on as though they were representative of

the all-knowing ones.  How many others do they think

they have a complete understanding of and feel

they know more than the particular individuals?

If they could be brought to light they might be singing,

“I have heartaches by the numbers and troubles by the score.”

ABIDING

There is no blame

There is no shame

But all the same

So natural, to play the game

Sometimes sad

Health so bad

No one glad

Was not a fad

When I review

Everyone knew

That we were true

We even grew

Expect revision

Justifiable decision

Life newly arisen

Release from prison

Too many miles

False smiles

Denials

Trials

Truth remains, too

White conquers blue

Stories of rue

Coming from who

No more tension

Invention

Retaliation

With intention

All will be good

As it should

Knock on wood

That we could

We sighed

Also tried

Often cried

We will abide

WHY ARE WE COMPLAINING

Some day we will realize how good we have it.

Sure, there was a little precipitation today;

it is gray, and the horizon is tough to see.

Good Friday is a fast day (if you choose) and

huge platefuls of fish dinners are shown on Facebook.

There are pictures of smiling faces ready to be

gorged with delicious food while the chatter is

about the weather and when we can expect spring.

Meanwhile millions in and from Ukraine are hungry,

thirsty, or dead.  It is a sad, sad, situation and we may wonder

what we can do.  Since we are not the government,

there is little we can do except hope and pray that

the leaders come to understand the true meaning of life.

To destroy is easy, but to put together a community is difficult.

History provides many answers, but no one is looking for answers

especially when power and control are at stake.  So we choose genocide.

Those looking at the fish dinners with beer and wine are still happy;

they may deserve a respite from the ugliness of war and murder.

They are sick of the ways of Antifa and Black Lives Matter and

the 65 million dollar mansion.  They are sick of defunding the police

and blaming law enforcement for every evil that exists on the streets.

I look out at the lake.  It is calm.  Small waves lap the shore in a peaceful way.

Peace is good.  Enjoy the fish everyone.
