I hear all of the good intentions
Watch them put into action
Very admirable intentions, but
They wear thin and the project fails
There is finger-pointing and soon
The whole idea and effort are forgotten
People move on to the next project
Where maybe their vision will prevail
If it does you are a hero or a failure will
Bring out calls that you are a loser
The truth remains and the intentions were real
Long term they will not change
They were learned from the happy success
Emotions can run high and
Two correct people may struggle for
The best way to proceed or they
Can compromise and agree that of their
Plans, either one will succeed
Pride and ego may prevent the coming together
Many times things come to a standstill
There is too much to do
We should never let the desire for control
Interfere with what could be a good outcome
Human nature prevails
What could be isn’t because of ego
We look back at lost opportunities
That is okay with those in control
We should all look back at our failures
Try to garner up the humility
To work with others for the perfect outcome
