MY MEDITATION FOR DECEMBER 8

We should give up all things

of inconsequence in exchange

for eternal joy.  At first it seems

like so much, but eternity is forever.

Our sacrifice does not compare to

that of Christ on the cross.

We are all to return to dust and

it is good to remember, especially

when we seem shortchanged.

Being given the gift of life supersedes

any hardships we may endure.

Being born in this country is like

winning the lotto.  The least of us

have more than most of the world.

We have cravings and must keep

things in perspective.  Naysayers

are quick to condemn those

proposing solutions which will

improve condition in the whole world.

We are shortsighted and use arguments

to defeat or advance based on our own views.

We must pray if we desire joy.  Amen

CURIOUS

Why are things going the way they are?

How many can say they are happy.

The Chinese Virus caused bedlam.

Hundreds of thousands died in many countries.

Many made claims which had no merit.

Denial on the origin of the virus prevailed.

Many variants formed or were released.

The Chinese Communist Party have

made the life of their people horrendous.

Their citizens are persecuted for religious reasons.

Their bodies are used to harvest organs.

They have sent contaminated drugs to Mexico.

Mexico has sent dangerous fentanyl to the U.S.

One hundred thousand have died this year alone

due to contaminated fentanyl.

The media has not made much noise about this or

the sex slave trafficking that goes on.

The once almost secure southern border is open and

an invitation to come has been extended.

Open threats from China, Russia, and Iran are ignored.

Our athletes will attend the Winter Olympics

but our officials will not attend.

The Chinese are happy as they say less disease

will be brought into their country.

Here we have peaceful protests where downtowns

are burned down or merchandise is stolen with no consequence.

We have canceled culture and indoctrinated students.

There are more shootings and murders in the large blue cities.

There are calls and we defund the police.

Life goes on as if nothing is happening.

Does anyone see the failures?

The cost of food and fuel?

The supply chain fiasco?

Is anyone curious?
