Energy within
Always changing
Form to form
Where is the source?
What sustains it?
Will it last?

Are we lost?
Staying stagnant?
Even if triumphant,
We may sway
From good to bad
And back again?

Our strength is
Not a given
There is beginning
Will be an end
Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust

We own a trust
Ours to keep
Or to share
With those
Inclined to see
Willing to hear

Never stagnation
Energy won’t allow
Traveling the road
Always uphill
Soon to the top
Then the cross

Death by crucifixion
Energy transformed
To the resurrection
Then the ascension
Gifting us with the Spirit
Infinite energy
