Day: September 30, 2021

We keep marching in life and
now and then it is time to 
slow down and think of the spiritual. 
I want the Holy Spirit within me as
I rely on this for stability.
I think before I speak and look
for Christ in others. I damper my
pride, seek humility and reflect
on the passion of Christ.  Evil in 
this world is overwhelming.  Still
there is goodness.  I focus on the
goodness that is in front of me and
pray for improved conditions in the
world that I have no control over.  
This is why Jesus says to walk with 
Him.  Find peace, joy, and quiet
for just being at His side.  This
is what I will do by His grace.

Here we go again
Our hearts will be broken again
We were looking for peace and contentment
We found revolution and genocide
We keep our faith
This has to end
What will end it we ask?
Not an easy question to answer
Will bringing people to the table help?
I think all that is, is talk
Talk is said to be cheap
Adjust the thinking of those involved
Easier said than done
Escalate our strength
Peace through strength
Sign agreements
This is one a delay tactic
The enemy catches up
This is not good
We are back to square one
In recorded history
There are only a few years without war
Those were good years
But then we saw build ups of armature
Then we waited
The other foot would soon fall
It all starts over, but
Only lasts for a little while
Relatively speaking
The cycles continue
They are destined to continue
This is the story of mankind
Every chapter is about the same
It is a bad, bad situation
We must not give up hope
Pray for our enemies
Pray for peace

Get on with what

All the drama
