Listen for the music and for the bells and the peals of the trains at night, the sounds send to us a message Sometimes we understand; other times we get mixed messages The wind may mask the sound the bell may have a crack and its message is off key Listen then to the music in your hearts May it lift you to do good works and help those in need Let it enhance our gentleness, sweetness, patience, humility and chastity May the light of the Holy Spirit inspire us to overcome the darkness of the world where God’s children are living in war, genocide, hatred and revolution we pray for forgiveness knowing that a just God will be waiting, sometimes with vengeance, other times with loving open welcoming arms It is for us the living to choose which way we want to live Do we wish eternal glory or damnation for eternity?
