LEADERSHIP

Trying to impact with a nasty situation
Use it to put us to shame
Supposedly showing our indifference
Instead of a Christian response
What are we do?
Hang our heads in shame?
We have no control
Rules are rules and they apply
The same thing happens all the time
Mothers go to serve time in prison
They are separated from their children
You mention the situation
She should have followed the law
What about the other perpetrators
Shouldn’t they obey the law?
You cannot make decisions with your heart
The brain and heart have to be on the same wave
Then you can feel confident about doing the right thing
We are a nation of laws
We have a border being crossed by illegal immigrants
No matter what your persuasion, the law has been broken
The better point to make might be to enforce our laws
Go after the companies hiring illegals and prosecute
In a while there would be no incentive to cross the border
There is a legal way to become a citizen
Everyone knows this and we all come from a background of immigration
It is a difficult situation for the ones in violation
The issue is tossed around like a football
Used for political purposes
Christians and others do help
We are generous in giving aid to the downtrodden
Dictators take much of the aid in many cases
Matters get worse
People starve, children and adults
They die and are separated forever until the hereafter
Please don’t use the pulpit to admonish
Religious leaders should lead
We should stop playing games
Cancel the United Nations or make it work
Everyone in Africa should have food, water and shelter
Where is the Vatican? What about their wall?
