WHAT SHOULD WE DO

What now my friend?
Like a ship stranded
Waiting for a tide
Wanting a changing wind
Relief of any kind

And at what price
When it trouble
One cannot factor cost
Emergence is what is sought
A ride back to the top

Then the application of disclaimers
Fault and blame expound
You are not surprised
Did not expect change
The club has its rules
Applying to most everyone

Mistakes or intentional actions
Are painted to cover up
Truth no longer a factor
Two people cannot agree
May even become hostile

Convinced by partisans
Who have trouble with reality
So where are we going
It is our country
Shall we wait for the tide?
Or begin on our own

TROUBLE

Where are the workers
They are getting the stimulus
More than they can earn
So why work?
The money is from the Government
And they are here to help

Unemployment is temporary
You should get back to work
Remember – each according
To their means
To others according to
Their needs

So why work –
Until you run out
Of other people’s money
Wake up America
This is a great country

Wake up teachers
Are you not smart
Enough to understand
What you unions are doing?

Get back to the classrooms
No more indoctrination
You will be eaten up
By our own failures

Free riders – get back to work
Joe-Joe – close the border
Do the right thing
Asylum seekers
Must remain in Mexico
Mexican cartels are terrorists
Deal with them, Joe-Joe
Now!
