Again, the eight-thirty light Allows a beautiful blue sky Accent the loveliness of the pines Amazement is a good term Seemingly, just out of winter But well into spring, one gets The sinking feeling as the Sun sets well north of due west Days are getting longer and Nights shorter until the end of June Then as the earth turns the days And night will be equal We live through this every year It is lady nature and we adjust Sometimes we make rules to save time Allows farmers more daylight And children to have light in the morning We have international time lines, so Alaska is the state most north, east, and west Hawaii which rose from the ocean Is our southernmost state Most do not know this, but They do know a beautiful day, And a delightful evening Now it is almost nine and There is a streak of pink across The southern sky It is amazing and we all may sing out What a wonderful day Stanski May 8, 2021 ^
