There are so many good people Who take the wrong path because That is the path they have always taken They instinctively follow it because Time was never taken to apply critical thinking We all have the feeling of being safe guarded Go about our business with no thought That our freedom could come tumbling down Reality jars our disposition, as avenues Of relief dissolve before our eyes Still the misinformed cling to their position And find an avenue to spew their disgust It is difficult to observe the survivors of Needless killings of innocent family members When this happens there is no recourse because The rule of law has long been obliterated I see the smiles of the survivors who Have holes in their hearts, but still have each other for now It is time for a great awakening Supreme power yields to “Love Thy Neighbor” It is not a joy to watch our liberties being taken away We forget about the little things we must do to help Secure the future for our children We forget about standing up for what is right We forget about the “Light” which will overcome all darkness Stanski February 10, 2021 ^
