From blue to gray
Steal your joy away
People go on
The ones not you
Enduring changes while
Doing the things they do
You are used to
Prospering and
Now miss the apple tree
Cut down years ago
Wonder why did
It have to go
Can’t get over the fact
That suddenly you don’t
Have something you
Thought you needed
A long time ago
There are other things
Which remain hidden
And so
The rain and gloom
Forgetting that the sun
Will shine again
