WHAT A DIFFERENCE TEN MINUTES MAKE

At four in the afternoon
The day was coming to a close
Nothing going on during the quarantine
Everything had been overcast
Gray and cloudy out to the invisible horizon
A typical early April day

Then the wind came up
It seemed like hurricane force
Sleet began to pour out of the sky
Followed by a fairyland snow fall
It lasted for ten minutes or so
Then vanished in the midst of sun glow

Like it never even happened
A commercial message came to mind
If it had not been witnessed
It would seem like one big line
The wind is still blowing; nice music
And the sun continues to shine
