BEAUTIFUL PEACE

The day is beautiful
Snow, sun, water, breeze and
light radiate majestically
the spirit of life,
stirring us to motion and
awareness of something
bigger than ourselves

The soul stirs and the mind is boggled
How great is the creator
The smallest bird is in his care
The largest ship, without him,
would be where?

We live in trust and are
empty handed without him
We are in awe of his glory and power
When we can give nothing
He sends us his son

When we walk away he opens
his arms and welcome us back
He lifts us when we choose to fall
He asks just for our love

We give nothing until he overwhelm us,
cloak us with his light and kindness
Then we cannot ignore him or his might
because he has so filled us

He reaches out and we wonder why
We are fascinated and still we cry with disbelief
How is it that he has chosen us?

We have no answers as we amble along
contemplating his grace and peace

The day is beautiful and as we
walk together we radiate majestically,
thanks to him,
the spirit of life
