WHERE WAS SHE

 I stood by her
 through thick and thin
 Took care of her every need
 for over six years
 I had no complaint
 Did not violate my covenant with her
  
 Then at the time of my need
 when my health fell apart,
 my dreams slipping away
 not quite into oblivion
 I didn’t know where she was
 but it wasn’t here
